Isak happy with Man City, Juventus interest: I can definitely imagine playing in England | OneFootball

Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak admits he'd welcome a future move to the Premier League.

The Sweden international has enjoyed an impressive season with La Real, helping the team into the European places in the LaLiga and a good run in the Copa del Rey.

Such has been his form, that Isak is being linked with Manchester City, Barcelona and Juventus for the summer transfer window.

Quizzed about the speculation, Isak admits he can see himself playing in the Premier League in the future.

He told Sportbladet via Fotboll Transfers: "I can definitely imagine playing in England. It is perhaps the best league in the world and it is clear that you always want to stick to top football.

"I can definitely imagine it, some day, if it becomes relevant. You have to see, but I absolutely believe that it is possible."

However, for the moment, Isak insists his focus is on helping La Real finish the season strongly after threatening to challenge for the LaLiga title before Christmas.

He continued: "I'm not thinking so much about a move right now. I just want to keep playing here and end the season as well as possible. I am definitely not thinking about a transfer right now."

Contracted with La Real to 2024, the 21 year-old former Borussia Dortmund striker has managed 34 appearances this season, scoring 12 goals and producing two assists. Isak also boasts 20 caps and has scored five times for Sweden.
