A journalist has come out to shut down the latest Chelsea transfer rumour that came out over the weekend.

The news comes after Chelsea beat ES Tunis 3-0 over night in the Club World Cup in America after Blues head coach Enzo Maresca named a rotated starting Xl to rest a few players.

Chelsea needed to avoid a defeat to progress to the knockout rounds of the competition, and they did that with ease in the end against an opposition that they were just much better than in terms of quality.

Marc Cucurella got a deserved rest in the game, with Josh Acheampong starting at left back instead, but before the game, the Spanish international was expecting another tough game. But it was far from that for Chelsea in the end.

Delap’s goal was a strikers goal

Not for the first time in recent months, Chelsea have been linked with PSG striker Kolo Muani, who is currently on loan with Juventus still.

It seems that he is a player that Chelsea have liked, but if Ben Jacobs is to be believed, he is not a player who is currently under consideration by Chelsea and there is no interest there right now.

“Randal Kolo Muani is not under consideration for Chelsea despite fresh links. Kolo Muani wants to stay at Juventus. PSG want around €45m for Kolo Muani.”
