Is it time for Chelsea to change their penalty taker? 🤦‍♂️

Jorginho has a trademark way of taking penalties, and for the most part it has worked a charm.

The Chelsea midfielder had mastered the run, hop and skip before (usually) slotting the ball away from 12 yards. It didn’t look conventional, but it was effective.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, the Italian has despatched ten of his eleven penalties so you would imagine Frank Lampard would’ve been confident when he stepped up after Timo Werner had been fouled 13 minutes into the Champions League clash with Krasnodar …

The 28-year-old has now missed his last two spot-kicks, after Alisson Becker had denied him in the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.

The miss has not gone down well on Twitter …

So that’s it. I never want to see Jorginho taking a penalty for us again. Not only is he taking goals away from our attacking players, he’s now not even scoring. Time to give them to Werner. Joke that he was on them to begin with. #KRACHE
