Atlético Madrid welcome Getafe to the Metropolitano on Saturday, and it has taken a lot for the hosts to crack the visitors.

But they’ve done it in a way we’ve never seen before!

Goalkeeper David Soria saved a long-range shot and it fell to a wide open Ángel Correa who blasted home.

But the goal was initially ruled out for a marginal offside, and Diego Simone hauled the Argentina star off in the process.

VAR then decided to change the atmosphere and awarded the goal as Correa sat on the bench.

His Atleti team-mates then ran toward him in celebration, crowding the substitute area in incredible scenes.

Correa's disallowed goal was overturned after he was subbed off. His teammates swarmed him to celebrate off the pitch 😆
