Ireland Women’s squad selected to face England and France | OneFootball

Ireland Head Coach Eileen Gleeson has selected a 26-player squad for the last two matches in their UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying group.

They make the trip to Norwich City’s Carrow Road ground to face the Lionesses on Friday 12 July, before hosting France at Páirc Uí Chaoimh four days later. Over 10,000 tickets have been sold for the match in Cork.

Defender Niamh Fahey, midfielder Denise O’Sullivan and attacker Marissa Sheva all return to the squad, while injuries rule out Chloe Mustaki, Tara O’Hanlon, Jamie Finn, Heather Payne and Kyra Carusa.

Midfielder Julie-Ann Russell has 60 caps and last played for Ireland in March 2020, but her excellent form for Galway United sees her return to the squad.
