Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi has been on the sidelines for a couple weeks now.

The Iranian international pulled out of the squad for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Udinese at the end of March.

That was the match immediately following the international break for Inter.

And medical tests confirmed that Taremi had suffered a thigh strain during the break.

Therefore, Mehdi Taremi has missed a couple Serie A matches. As well as first leg clashes with AC Milan in the Coppa Italia and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

However, the Gazzetta report, a return is now not far on the horizon for Mehdi Taremi.

The 32-year-old is back in training today. He has made a full recovery from his injury.

Therefore, Taremi will be available for Inter’s next match.

The Nerazzurri host Cagliari in Serie A tomorrow evening.

Taremi will not be in the starting eleven for tomorrow’s match, the Gazzetta report.

However, the Iranian will be in the squad. And he will also be ready for crucial second legs against the likes of Bayern and Milan.
