As you can see below, at present, there are multiple clubs involved in the battle for the title and the two automatic promotion spots, with Leeds United,Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and due to their games in hand, Southampton, no doubt feeling they all have a chance.

Vaclav Hladky's Ipswich Town comments

This ties in with comments recently made by Ipswich Town goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky.

Ipswich Town destroyed Sheffield Wednesday 6-0 last weekend, and after the match, the Tractor Boys goalkeeper reflected on the result, revealing that there is a belief at Ipswich that they can win every game.

"Saturday [defeating Sheffield Wednesday] was probably the best way we could go into an international break," Hladky told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"The next two weeks will be the same as always. We've got some days off to recover a bit, but there will also be a lot of hard work.

"There are eight big games in front of us and we want to be prepared as much as we can."

"There's always belief. It's been that way for two years now."

"The biggest belief is that we can win every single game. We will start with the next game."

With 10 games to go or under for all sides, at this stage of the season, it really is all about results.

We have seen this campaign that all clubs at the top are capable of putting together long winning streaks and as such, those who go up may need to win the vast majority if not all of their remaining matches if they want to go up.

In that sense, ipswich Town, if they want to hold on to second place in the Championship, may have to deliver on Hladky's comments and go on and win every game.

Leicester City's longest winning streak this season was nine matches, for example, whereas Leeds United are currently 13 unbeaten, with 12 wins and one draw in those games.

This highlights the caliber of opposition that the Tractor Boys are up against, with Ipswich's own largest winning streak just six matches this campaign.

Ipswich Town's remaining fixtures

There are also some very tricky fixtures to come for Ipswich, which could easily see them slip up and drop points in the promotion race.

Whilst Blackburn Rovers away up next is certainly winnable, a home clash with Southampton, who sit fourth currently, awaits in what could be a crucial clash come May.

After that, it's an away trip to play-off hopefuls Norwich, before two home games against Middlesbrough and Watford - two sides that have underwhelmed this season but that are capable of causing problems if they turn up on the day.

Hull City and Coventry City - two further play-off hopefuls wait after that, before a final day clash against relegation-threatened Huddersfield Town, in which Ipswich would fancy their chances.
