The first leg of the Coppa Italia 2024/25 semi-final ended in a draw. AC Milan and Inter couldn't get past a 1-1 scoreline in the game at San Siro. Just a few minutes after Abraham's opener at the start of the second half, Calhanoglu responded with a rocket from outside the box. The game against the Rossoneri brings us several statistics and fun facts.

THE NERAZZURRI NUMBERS

Inter have only lost two of the last 10 derbies in all competitions, once again confirming the solidity and incisiveness in key moments of the season. In the last 10 derbies, the Nerazzurri have maintained an average of 1.9 goals scored per game, demonstrating a consistent efficiency in attack. The goal in the first leg od the semi-final saw Inter extend their scoring streak against AC Milan: the Nerazzurri have now scored in 12 consecutive games against the Rossoneri. This is a historic achievement, seen only twice before and always being Inter: 1954 to 1959 and 1993 to 1997.

CALHANOGLU, KEY ONCE AGAIN

Hakan Calhanoglu continues to be a fundamental part of Simone Inzaghi's set-up. The Turkish midfielder scored his 10th goal of the season in all competitions, reaching double figures in the Top-5 European leagues for the third time in his career.

With his goal in the derby, the Nerazzurri number 20 totals four goals from outside the box this season, more than any other Serie A player in all competitions. Moreover, this was Calhanoglu's third goal against AC Milan as a former player: the first from active play after two scored from the spot.

BERENBRUCH, A BIG STEP

It was a special night for Thomas Berenbruch who made his second appearance for the Nerazzurri in the game against AC Milan. The midfielder, born in 2005, after making his senior debut in March in the Champions League against Feyenoord, had the chance for an unforgettable experience. Coming on in the 90th minute for Correa, Berenbruch took to the San Siro pitch in a derby, something that for an Inter fan represents an even greater step in his growth and a sign of the trust in him from the Nerazzurri staff.

AHEAD OF THE SECOND LEG

With the draw in the first leg, Inter will be preparing for another night of action on Wednesday 23 April at 21:00 CEST at San Siro.
