Romelu Lukaku has a better goals per game ratio than either Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo do at international level, sports broadcaster Amazon Prime have highlighted.

Inter and Belgian national team striker Lukaku has a goals per game of 0.62 for the Belgian national team which is 0.01 better than Cristiano Ronaldo has for Portugal and 0.12 better than Messi does for the Argentine national team.

Lukaku has made 86 appearances across all competitions for the Belgian national team, who he debuted for back in 2010. In his time on the park he has tallied a sensational 53 goals, which is in fact the highest ever tally anyone has scored for the Belgian national team.

27-year-old Lukaku joined Inter in the Summer of 2019 from Manchester United in what was a club record €65 million transfer deal for the Nerazzurri club.

Since his arrival he has made 54 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a total of 37 goals.
