Inter’s Cesare Casadei set for Chelsea medical this week | OneFootball

Inter’s young midfielder Cesare Casadei is set to join Chelsea in a permanent move this summer.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the deal for the youngster to join Chelsea is now done and the Blues are completing the paperwork of the transfer.

The London giants will pay €15 million for the initial fee plus bonuses of €5 million as well. He is expected to arrive in London tomorrow but he is expected to undergo a medical with Chelsea on the day after.  The midfielder was close to joining Torino earlier this summer, in the deal which Inter were planning to sign Bremer. But the Brazilian joined Juventus and made his debut yesterday against Torino.

Casadei has impressed for Inter in the club’s Under-19s side and the 19-year-old scored 14 goals from midfield last season for the Primavera side and also racked up four assists. He hasn’t played for the senior Inter side so far.
