Scoring goals

True to his status as top scorer in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Kylian Mbappé was the league's most prolific player during the international break. With a brace against the Netherlands (2-1) and a goal against Scotland (4-1), the PSG striker scored three times in two games to make history for the French national team once again. With 43 goals in 73 appearances, the Parisian has overtaken Michel Platini to become Les Bleus' fourth-top scorer, behind Olivier Giroud (54), Thierry Henry (51) and Antoine Griezmann (44).

Another Ligue 1 Uber Eats player scored more than one goal during this break, and it's another Parisian. Lee Kang-in, who scored twice for South Korea against Tunisia (4-0) and then again against Vietnam (6-0), also notched three goals. Meanwhile Jamaica's Shamar Nicholson, who has been with Clermont Foot since the summer, also did well for himself, scoring twice in as many appearances, against Grenada (4-1) and Haiti (3-2).

OM midfielder Amine Harit scored his first goal for Morocco in their 3-0 win over Liberia, while Monaco's Folarin Balogun confirmed his good start to life with the USMNT by scoring his third goal in six appearances (4-0 against Ghana). The two Japanese players from Stade de Reims, Junya Ito and Keito Nakamura, also experienced the joy of scoring, striking against Tunisia (2-0) and Canada (4-1) respectively.

Gonçalo Ramos (PSG) also struck for Portugal against Slovakia (3-2) and continued to improve his international form, which now stands at seven goals in nine games for the Seleçao. Another newcomer to Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Hakon Haraldsson, was also on target. The LOSC player found the net in Iceland's 4-0 win over Liechtenstein.

Teeing them up

Having already scored, four players went one better by also providing an assist during this break. Kylian Mbappé achieved this feat in the same match with a goal and an assist against Scotland. His PSG team-mate Lee Kang-in achieved the same feat against Vietnam. For their part, Folarin Balogun and Junya Ito also bagged assists during the break, but in different matches from the ones in which they scored.

Loïc Nego (Havre AC) is the only player to have set up two goals during this international break, with a pair of assists for Hungary against Serbia (2-1). Achraf Hakimi also set up a goal, for Morocco against Liberia. Another right-back, Jonathan Clauss, used his crossing skills to earn his first assist for Les Bleus against the Netherlands.

Cristian Casseres Jr and Moussa Diarra (Toulouse FC), Mohamed Camara (AS Monaco), Mohamed Daramy (Stade de Reims) and Przemyslaw Frankowski (RC Lens) also made the most of the international break to hand out assists.

Being outstanding

Folarin Balogun (AS Monaco) is the Ligue 1 Uber Eats player with the most shots in a match during the break, with five shots in the USA's 4-0 win over Ghana.

Argentina's World Cup winner Nicolas Tagliafico (OL) is the player who racked up the most touches in a single match during the break, with 114 possessions for the Albiceleste against Paraguay (1-0). The OL man also made the most interceptions in a single match (six against Peru).

Alidu Seidu (Clermont Foot 63) is the player who won the most duels in a match (11 with Ghana against the USA) and the one who suffered the most fouls in a single match (five against Mexico, 0-2).

Fabian Ruiz (PSG) was very much in demand during Spain's 1-0 win over Norway, with 109 possessions.

Przemyslaw Frankowski (RC Lens) and Achraf Hakimi (PSG) are the two players who made the most passes leading to a shot in the same match (four), the former in Poland's match against the Faroe Islands and the latter in Morocco's victory over Liberia.

Danilo Pereira completed 92 passes for Portugal against Bosnia-Herzegovina (5-0), the best performance of any Ligue 1 Uber Eats player called up in October - ahead of Paris Saint-Germain club-mates Fabian Ruiz (90 in Norway-Spain) and Marquinhos (86 in Uruguay-Brazil).
