Brentford defender Nathan Collins played 90 minutes as the Republic of Ireland lost 2-0 to England in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday.

The centre-back showed his usual defensive solidity, contributing with numerous blocks and interceptions - something which has been seen on many occasions for the Bees already this term - but he and his side were unable to keep out goals from Declan Rice and Jack Grealish.

The Republic of Ireland will face Greece on Tuesday 10 September (7.45pm kick-off) in their next League B Group 2 clash.

Elsewhere in the Nations League, Denmark won both their opening two games 2-0 in League A, as they faced Switzerland and Serbia.
