This year's UEFA Nations League final will be contested between Croatia and Spain, following Italy's 2-1 defeat to the latter in their semi-final match-up played in the Netherlands on Thursday, 15 June 2023. La Furia Roja took the lead through Yeremy Pino in the 3rd minute, with Ciro Immobile equalising from the penalty spot in the 11th minute, before a deflected effort fell kindly to Joselu who slotted home the winner two minutes from time to send Spain through to the final.

Juve' Leonardo Bonucci captained the side and played the entire first half, while Federico Chiesa came on as a substitute for Immobile in the 60th minute.
