On the occasion of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, FC Bayern is once again making clear that the club stands for a world without exclusion of any kind. “FC Bayern is a cosmopolitan, tolerant club,” said president Herbert Hainer. “We are against any form of discrimination. Our Bayern family is a home for every person who shares and lives our values. We emphasise again and again, and say it again today, that Mia san bunt!”

FC Bayern regularly lights up its Allianz Arena in rainbow colours to set an example for diversity and solidarity with the LGBTQ* movement. The corner flags and captain’s armbands of its men and women’s teams are often also in the same design. The club has also long been involved in Christopher Street Day with its fan club Queerpass Bayern and always tries to contribute to further awareness-raising with joint campaigns such as workshops and information events.
