It has been a historic season for Stade Brestois, who for the first time in the club’s history, have qualified for European competition. At worst, Brest will qualify for the UEFA Champions League play-offs, however, that may not be enough for the Breton club to retain all of their key players, according to L’Équipe.
As well as Bradley Locko, linked with a Premier League move, as well as a potential switch to Lille OSC, Pierre Lees-Melou could also attract attention this summer. Lilian Brassier (24) could also depart Les Ty-Zéfs. The French centre-back garnered significant interest in January, notably from AS Monaco, AC Milan and Porto. However, with the club on a positive trajectory, Brassier remained with Brest.
L’Équipe report that Monaco retain their interest in Brassier, despite confirming the permanent signing of Thilo Kehrer, who had joined the Principality club on loan from West Ham United in January. However, Les Monégasques may face competition. VfB Stuttgart, who have also qualified for next season’s Champions League, are interested, as are Villarreal and Bologna.
