Inter have not yet made any concrete attempts to sign Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic, according to a report in the German media today.

As has been reported by German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, despite all the swirling rumours around Inter’s interest in the Serbian international, there has been no official contact from the Nerazzurri yet.

It’s believed that Inter are holding out on making any signings until they’ve managed to make one big sale, whether that be Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint Germain or Chelsea, or Lautaro Martinez to a big La Liga club.

It is believed that Filip Kostic and Inter would not have any trouble agreeing on personal terms, and the German side would not stand in the player’s way if an appropriate bid came in from the Nerazzurri.

If Paris Saint Germain are willing to meet Inter’s €80 million asking price for Achraf Hakimi, that could trigger a flurry of activity which would include the signing of Filip Kostic.
