Inter management will sit down with starlet Sebastiano Esposito today and ask him to not got to the under 17 World Cup with Italy according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Due to Alexis Sanchez’s recent injury, Inter are now down to just three established players capable of playing at striker and with Inter facing a packed fixture schedule between now and the January transfer window, Inter manager Antonio Conte has made it clear that he simply cannot rely on having just three strikers available to him.

Inter will ask Esposito not to go on the basis that he will be involved with the first team and will, in all likelihood, see some action whilst Chilean international Sanchez is out on the sidelines recovering.

The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best prospects to come through the ranks at Inter for some time and the Nerazzurri have high hopes for him.

He made his first team debut last season in the Europa League and was heavily relied upon in pre-season – and impressed – as Inter found themselves short on numbers in the attack.
