Inter will extend the contract of defender Milan Skriniar now that the club misses out on the signing of Bremer, losing him to Juventus.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri have the offer ready to go to renew with it looking all but certain that Bremer would not arrive.

Inter have put forward their offer of €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons and young midfielder to Torino for Bremer, whilst Juventus have offered €45 million plus €5 million in add-ons which Torino have accepted.

The Nerazzurri’s wage offer to the player stands at €3.4 million net per season whereas the Bianconeri have put forward €5 million net per season.

Torino have accepted the Bianconeri’s offer, and so Inter are starting to prepare for missing out.

Skriniar’s availability on the market has largely been predicated on a replacement of the calibre of Bremer being brought in, but in the event that the 25-year-old doesn’t arrive, Inter will instead extend the Slovakian’s deal.
