Inter will take on arch-rivals AC Milan in the upcoming Derby della Madonnina clash without veteran midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 36-year-old may not return to action until early December.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan suffered a hamstring injury during Inter’s 3-1 defeat at Napoli in late October.

Therefore, Cristian Chivu couldn’t call upon the former Roma star in Inter’s last three Serie A matches.

Inter and Milan will lock horns at San Siro when Serie A returns to action after November’s international break.

Yet, Chivu will likely be without his experienced midfielder, who is still recovering from injury.

Indeed, Mkhitaryan could only be ready for Inter’s Coppa Italia clash against Venezia at the start of December.

As such, he will most probably miss the Nerazzurri’s away game against newcomers Pisa.
