Inter will move to sign two defenders once Milan Skriniar is sold to Paris Saint-Germain, with Torino’s Bremer being one of them and then a direct replacement for Skriniar being the other.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu are the main candidates to arrive alongside Bremer.
Skriniar looks to be getting closer and closer to PSG, with the 27-year-old also being more convinced on a move to the French champions, partly by the ambitions of their project to win the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri are resigned to the sale and are only waiting for the right offer from the Parisians before getting a deal done, and preparations are well underway to reinforce the defense for life without Skriniar.
Bremer has been one of Inter’s priority targets for the summer for a long time, and they will move for the Brazilian immediately upon Skriniar’s departure.
Meanwhile, Milenkovic has been identified as a like-for-like replacement and Soyuncu is another alternative, whilst coach Simone Inzaghi would not turn down a reunion with Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi although he is not the priority.
