Inter To Resume Cesare Casadei Talks On Tuesday With Chelsea In Pole Position Ahead Of Sassuolo & OGC Nice, Italian Media Report | OneFootball

Inter are set to resume talks regarding a possible transfer for midfielder Cesare Casadei on Tuesday, with Chelsea looking to be the favourites to sign him ahead of Sassuolo and OGC Nice.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will start listening to offers for the 19-year-old once again early next week after taking a break to focus on the start of the Serie A season.

Chelsea have pushing for Casadei’s signature in recent weeks, whilst Ligue 1 side Nice have joined them in the chase and Sassuolo look to be at the front of the pack when it comes to Italian teams after his signature.

The player’s preference is to join Chelsea over either Nice or Sassuolo and this could be the decisive factor in deciding his destination, whilst the Blues would also be more able to meet the Nerazzurri’s €15 million asking price which neither of the other two clubs would necessarily be able to do.
