Inter will pay their player and coaching staff’s salaries for the month of February by the end of next week, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said the Nerazzurri would be handing over a total of €15 million before tax to their first-team squad.

Inter would then have the months of November, December, March and April left to pay for their players and staff, which amounts to a total of €60 million.

Club president Steven Zhang will ensure this is done immediately after the end of the season, the Milan-based paper assured.

Inter’s next deadline after the above four months of wages will arrive in July, when the club will need to sort out their corporate issues.

Zhang is expected to secure a loan deal to help Inter ease their financial problems, while Suning could also find a new minority shareholder to replace LionRock Capital.

Inter’s president will return to Milan shortly and at that point he will have to explain the club’s future plans to players and Antonio Conte.

Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni are both due to sign contract extensions with the Nerazzurri, the report added.
