Felipe Caicedo will earn a net of €1 million for the total duration of his loan stay at Inter from Genoa until the end of the season.

This according to to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the 33-year-old has accepted a salary reduction in order to join the Nerazzurri for the rest of the campaign.

Caicedo’s current deal with the Griffone is worth a net of €2.5 million for the season, but the Nerazzurri have not been ready to pay his entire wages from now until June.

However, the Ecuadorian wants to make the move and reunite with former Lazio head coach Simone Inzaghi, and he has agreed to a wage cut which was fundamental to Inter agreeing on the deal.

The club are pleased as the wages that they pay out to Caicedo will in fact be less than those which they are getting off their books with Stefano Sensi’s loan to Sampdoria for the rest of the campaign.
