Inter are set to offer head coach Simone Inzaghi a new contract which will take him until the end of June 2024 shortly after their Serie A clash with Sampdoria tomorrow evening.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Nerazzurri are all prepared to formally make their offer to the 46-year-old and that they will do so once the final match of the season is out of the way.
Right now, total focus is on the preparations for tomorrow’s clash with the Blucerchiati, with the Nerazzurri going into the final round of games with a chance of winning the Scudetto on the final day.
After this, however, the club will not waste any time, with President Steven Zhang and the directors having no doubt that they want to continue on with their coach.
Inzaghi’s current deal runs out at the end of June 2023, but he will be handed a one-year extension which will also see his wages increased.
