Inter are aiming to loan in Genoa striker Felipe Caicedo on the same wages as Stefano Sensi currently earns.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri will look to get a deal over the line which sees the Ecuadorian earn the wages that they are getting off their books when Sensi joins Sampdoria on loan.

Inter are moving in on signing Caicedo, who is their preferred option to bolster their attack with Joaquin Correa injured and the remaining three forwards in the squad not guaranteed to be available.

The club are looking to close on a loan deal to bring the 33-year-old in on Genoa, and they will offer him the same wages as Sensi earns, with the midfielder headed for Sampdoria on a dry loan.

Caicedo will have to take a slight pay cut in order to earn the same wages that Sensi is currently earning, but the Nerazzurri are hoping to get the deal done soon.

Sky also report that should Inter be unable to loan in Caicedo, their backup plan is to reintegrate Eddie Salcedo into the squad upon his return from loan with Spezia.
