Brozovic’s current deal is set to run out at the end of June 2022 but the club have been aiming to renew with the midfielder imminently.

The player is thought to want around €6 million net per season on a new deal, while the club are reportedly ready to go from their initial offer of €4.5 million net plus add-ons to €5 million.

The first meeting will reveal further how close the parties are to an agreement and whether the distance on wages can be resolved, though it is not likely to be the only meeting necessary to reach an agreement on a new deal.
