Inter have made Spezia midfielder Giulio Maggiore a transfer target for next summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are considering a move for the 23-year-old on an initial loan with a purchase obligation.

Inter are likely to part ways with the likes of Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino next summer when the pair’s contracts expire, and they will be in search of midfield reinforcements.

Maggiore is one of the top names on the club’s names to sign to shore things up in the centre of the pitch, with the midfielder having been monitored for sometime and continued to impress with his rise.

The 23-year-old has now made 46 appearances in Serie A since helping his club to promotion during the 2019-20 season.

The Nerazzurri have an excellent relationship with Maggiore’s agent Alessandro Lucci, and they could seek to bring the player in on an initial paid loan with an obligation to purchase him on a permanent basis which also includes performance-based add-ons.
