Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has the best goals per game average in all of Inter’s history for players that have played more than 30 games for the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno.
The Belgian national team player has scored a sensational 45 goals in 63 games for the club since arriving in the Summer of 2019 from Manchester United which gives him a goal per game mark of 0.71.
In the 1920’s Anton Powolny scored 30 goals in 29 games for the club and Heinrich Schönfeld scored 11 in 14 games around the same time.
Lukaku has a better goals per game average than the likes of István Nyers (0.70), Inter’s record all time goalscorer Giuseppe Meazza (0.66) or Christian Vieri (0.64).
Lukaku is slowly creeping up on some of Inter’s recent strikers in terms of goals scored for the club with the report highlighting that he is just eight goals shy of Samuel Eto’o and he has already matched Hernan Crespo’s goal tally for the club, a tally which took Crespo 116 games to achieve.
