Inter striker Romelu Lukaku did not undergo any new medical tests today and just followed his usual training program, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInter1908, the Belgian forward did train on the grass today which is a promising sign for his recovery.

He was not with the full group though and was undergoing his personalised program to try and get fit as soon as possible.

It has taken him longer to recover from the injury than some estimates had expected when he first got the injury.

There were suggestions that he would be back for the match against AS Roma last weekend but it soon became clear that would not be the case.

Now it is likely that another two games will pass, the Sassuolo and Barcelona matches, before he can take to the field with his new side and show why he wanted to return.
