Young Inter striker Martin Satriano looks set to leave the club on loan during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Uruguayan will depart in search of regular playing time in January after having found his opportunities limited so far.

Satriano was kept in the squad by Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi after the 20-year-old impressed with his displays in preseason.

However, the striker has played very little for the Nerazzurri first team and has instead mostly played for the Primavera side despite training with the first team.

For this reason, it looks likely that he will depart on loan next month in order to find more playing time and continue to develop.

The intention of Inzaghi and the club would be to see Satriano develop with regular playing time elsewhere but then return to the club, although there is also interest in Serie A and elsewhere in Europe in buying him on a permanent basis.
