Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is not underestimating the difficulty of tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Roma.

Speaking to Inter podcast Kickoff, as reported by FCInterNews, the 24-year-old spoke highly of the Giallorossi’s quality, and particularly of the ability of manager Jose Mourinho.

Based on form, the Nerazzurri would appear to be the favourites in tomorrow’s clash at the San Siro, with Simone Inzaghi’s men having won their past four matches in all competitions and not suffered a defeat since losing to Lazio in October.

Roma, meanwhile, fell to defeat in their last match, a frustrating 1-0 loss against Bologna in Serie A.

However, the Giallorossi have shown on numerous occasions this campaign their ability to produce big performances against virtually any opposition, and Martinez feels that with the talents of their head coach, and especially playing away in the Italian capital, the match will not be a straightforward one for Inter.

“A very difficult game awaits us because we are going to play away from home, and it is a ground that has always been difficult for us,” he stated.

He noted that Inter  will “come up against a coach who has great talent and who makes his team attack a lot, he is always difficult to face.”

The Argentine also noted that “I always try to give my best, to give a hand to Inter and to score goals if possible.”
