Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti has agreed to a move to Monza, and is now awaiting the two clubs finding an agreement on the transfer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the 23-year-old has been convinced by the opportunity to have a first-choice spot in the starting eleven at the newly-promoted team.

Monza have made Pinamonti one of their key targets to strengthen for life in the top flight, after the Nerazzurri striker helped Empoli to a strong midtable finish in their first season back in Serie A last time around.

Atalanta have also been pushing to sign the 23-year-old, among a host of other Italian clubs, and the player had been keen on joining La Dea and more skeptical about Monza’s offer.

However, after some consideration Pinamonti has become more intrigued by being at the centre of the Lombard team’s ambitious project, whereas he would not be guaranteed a starting spot at Atalanta.

Now, the striker will wait for the two clubs to finalize a deal for his sale.
