Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is healthy and will start this evening’s derby on the bench against AC Milan, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward is fit and will not start against the Rossoneri this evening, especially with the opening game of the Champions League just around the corner.

Should Sanchez give the correct guarantees over the next few days, it is likely that he will start against Borussia Monchengladbach, the report continues. The Chilean has already provided two assists this season.

Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni has tested negative for Covid-19, after undergoing the test yesterday morning. He will not be available for this evening’s game but could appear in the Champions League next week.

Tomorrow Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini and Belgian Radja Nainggolan will undergo tests to see if they are still infected with the contagion.
