Inter’s squad are set to reconvene for training tomorrow, and will fly to Malta on Sunday afternoon.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will stay in Malta for their training retreat until January 9.

Those Inter players who are not currently on international duty at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be expected to report back for training.

Tomorrow the squad will begin to reassemble at the club’s training centre to begin their preparations for the restart of the Serie A season.

The team will continue training in Milan through Saturday, and then on Sunday morning.

On Sunday afternoon, the squad will fly to Malta where they will begin their training retreat during the World Cup.

The Nerazzurri will have two friendly matches scheduled while in Malta.

The first will be against Maltese side Gzira United, on December 5, and then the second will be against Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg, on January 7.
