Inter set to hold talks over Lautaro Martinez contract renewal | OneFootball

Serie A side Inter are expected to begin negotiations with Lautaro Martinez soon for a contract renewal.

According to a report by Sky Italia, Inter are set to contact striker Lautaro Martinez’s agent soon to discuss a potential contract extension for the player by the end of November. Apart from the Argentine, the club will also begin negotiations with Nicolo Barella soon as these two players are seen as leaders in the dressing room.

While the Nerazzurri have internally decided to renew Martinez’s contract, it won’t be before the renewals of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco. The three mentioned player’s negotiations are at an advanced stage and require urgent attention but they are set to be completed within this year.

Inter will attempt to extend their star striker’s contract beyond 2026 next year but discussions surrounding salary, tenure and bonuses will begin shortly.
