Inter have rejected the first offer that Totteham Hotspur have presented to them for Milan Skriniar according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Spurs offered just €30 million to Inter in exchange for Skriniar, a sum of money that Inter did not even deem it worthy of starting negotiations for.

Inter want €60 million for the Slovakian national team player and the report claims that it is difficult to imagine Spurs being able to present Inter with such an offer.

The Premier League side could however offer €45 million plus add-ons, an offer which Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio could think about given it would still allow Inter to make a significant capital gain on Skriniar, who has a value against the club’s budget of €16 million.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that the north London based club could come back in with a new and improved offer in the coming hours.
