Inter have reiterated to Paulo Dybala that their plan is to sign him, but they can only proceed once they make room in the attacking positions of their squad.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the desire to bring in the 28-year-old remains strong, but that offloading one of Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa could prove to be tricky.

The situation with Dybala, which had at one point looked to be only a matter of time before he signed for Inter, has been complicated by the arrival of Romelu Lukaku.

Alexis Sanchez’s departure is expected soon, but one of Dzeko or Correa would likely have to leave before a move for the Argentine would be feasible.

There is interested in both of the pair, particularly from La Liga and the Premier League, but neither are particularly interested in leaving the Nerazzurri this summer, so offloading either could be difficult.

Nevertheless, for the time being Inter are continuing to make clear to Dybala that they want to sign him and that they are doing what they can.
