Inter Reignite Their Interest In Borussia Monchengladbach Forward Marcus Thuram, Italian Media Report | OneFootball

Inter are keen on bringing French striker Marcus Thuram to the summer as well as Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, the French forward has remained on Inter’s radar since last summer and he could be signed as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez in the summer.

The Borussia Monchengladbach forward came very close to joining the Nerazzurri in the summer instead of Joaquin Correa. He then suffered a serious knee injury that meant he had to stay in Germany and recover.

There is a €45 million release clause in his contract but it is thought that the German side would not be asking for a fee that high given the injury the player sustained and the poor season that the club is having.

This signing would be as well as Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo, rather than instead of him.
