Inter manager Antonio Conte continues to hope that N’Golo Kante will be signed according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Signing the French national team player will not be easy and Inter are relying on the possible sale of Milan Skriniar to Tottenham Hotspur in order to give them funds to make a move for Kante.

The sale of Skriniar, combined with that of Matias Vecino or perhaps the sale of one of Marcelo Brozovic or Christian Eriksen would enable Inter to make a move for the former Leicester City player.

Inter management think it is very complicated to bring Kante to the club given it will take at least €50 million plus add-ons to do so.

The report from the Rome based news outlet concludes that Inter have far from given up but it is clear that there are difficulties involved in them signing Kante.
