Inter recover Lautaro Martinez as key Barca duo miss out | OneFootball

Inter captain Lautaro Martinez has seemingly recovered from his thigh injury in miraculous fashion and will be available to play in the Champions League semifinal second leg against Barcelona. After the first leg, it seemed that there is no chance for the striker to play the game but somehow he has been involved in training and will be in the squad, although there’s little chance he’ll be at 100%.

Inter also thought they had Benjamin Pavard available but he felt pain in the final training session and will not be a part of the squad.

Barcelona on their part have also recovered their striker as Robert Lewandowski who missed the first leg is back for this one. It is unlikely that he will start but Hansi Flick will definitely throw him on in the second half, especially if Barca need to score.

However worryingly for the Blaugrana, they will be without both of their first choice fullbacks, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde. Eric Garcia or Ronald Araujo will start on the right while on the left it’ll be Inigo Martinez or Gerard Martin.
