Inter reaffirmed their offer of a one-year contract with the option of an additional season worth €4.5 million net per season to Ivan Perisic yesterday evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri made clear to the 33-year-old that their offer has not changed in a meeting last week.

Perisic is aiming for a deal that would see him earn more than the €5 million net per season which he is currently on, but so far the Nerazzurri have reiterated that their position is that they will not hand him a pay raise.

It remains to be seen whether the club will decide to make a higher offer to try and convince the player in the negotiations that take place at the end of the current season.

However, as of the current moment the club’s position to Perisic is that they are standing firm on the offer of €4.5 million net per season.
