Inter-owned wingback Valentino Lazaro has made his first competitive appearance on loan at Torino, appearing during the second half of their Coppa Italia win over Palermo.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old came on as a substitute during the second half as Ivan Juric’s team made it past Palermo to the next round of the competition.

Lazaro will spend the season on loan with Torino, having already had loan spells with the likes of Newcastle United, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Benfica since joining the Nerazzurri from Hertha Berlin during the summer of 2019.

The Austrian did not start for the Granata in yesterday evening’s Coppa Italia win, but he did come on for Wilfried Singo during the second half to help see out the match.

Lazaro will have more opportunities to show his qualities for Torino in Serie A as well as in the Coppa Italia where his team will have at least one more match to play following progression yesterday evening.
