Inter loanee Dalbert has denied reports suggesting he is due to sign for La Liga side Real Valladolid on loan in January.

Multiple reports in the last 48 hours have said the Spanish strugglers, who have Nerazzurri legend Ronaldo as club president, are on the verge of picking up the former Nice full-back.

Dalbert has been on loan at Rennes in Ligue 1 for the first half of the season, but it was said they had decided to terminate his move six months early due to a lack of game time.

However, the 27-year-old was quoted by Brazilian outlet Fair Play Assessoria tonight as saying: “I’m not leaving.

“I’m a professional and I have a contract, much like I have a lot of respect for the club who is giving me this opportunity (Rennes).

“There are no negotiations nor is there a chance I will leave, it doesn’t exist.”

Inter signed Dalbert from Nice in the summer of 2017 but he never settled during two seasons in Milan, before moving to Fiorentina on loan last year.

FcInterNews.it reported earlier tonight that he was unconvinced by the prospect of moving to Real Valladolid, and the player’s quotes appear to have confirmed every bit of their story.
