Inter youngster Sebastiano Esposito has tipped his parent club to win the Scudetto for the second year running, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking to OCW Sports, via FCInternews, the young striker who is currently on loan at FC Basel in Switzerland said that the key part of the title race will be in February when there are direct matches between those battling for the Scudetto.

“For me Inter wins it, 100%. The key moments are in February when there will be direct clashes.”

Roberto Gagliardini scored the opening goal for Inter against Spezia on Wednesday night and Sebastiano Esposito revealed that the move in question was taught to the squad by Antonio Conte rather than Simone Inzaghi.

“Since the goal, Gagliardini also had a great match. And I tell one thing: that goal there is a scheme from Conte. Then maybe with Inzaghi they do it again.”

Speaking about the atmosphere at San Siro and how it affects the team, the young striker said that it can weigh negatively on the team but can be great when things are going well.

“It can weigh negatively, but it can also be an incredible charge. For example now, now that everything is going well, anyone could do excellent things at Inter.

“On the contrary, to say, I remember when they whistled us with Barça on the 1- 1. It was the last match of the group, we just needed a success to qualify and we lost.”

There was discussion over who should have taken Inter’s penalty against Spezia. Sebastiano Espositio said: “Because the penalty taker is Lautaro. The Argentine was the best on the field: he scores and assists.”
