Inter are looking to end a miserable Derby d’Italia run when they face Juventus on Sunday night.

The Nerazzurri welcome Andrea Pirlo’s side to San Siro holding a four point advantage in the Serie A standings.

If they’re to extend that though they will need to overcome a horrendous record that has seen them winless in this fixture since 2016.

In September of that year Frank de Boer’s side came from behind to take a 2-1 win at Siro.

Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is the only survivor from that squad who is likely to start tonight.

The match winner from that day, Ivan Perisic, is likely to start from the bench while Marcelo Brozovic had been frozen out by De Boer.

Since that day the teams have met eight times in all competitions with six Juve wins and two draws.

The last meeting came in Turin in March just before the coronavirus shutdown that saw Serie A suspended.

Juve took a 2-0 win that day with goals from Aaron Ramsey and Paulo Dybala.
