Inter One Of Five Clubs Courting RB Leipzig Striker Timo Werner | OneFootball

Inter are one of a handful of clubs keen on signing RB Leipzig superstar Timo Werner according to a report in today’s print edition of German newspaper BILD.

The German national team striker is largely expected to depart the Red Bull Arena club at the end of this season and potential suitors are certainly not lacking.

Inter face competition from arch rivals Juventus, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Premier League pair Chelsea and Liverpool for the 23-year-old striker.

As per the report, Liverpool are currently leading the race to sign Werner, who has been with Leipzig since the Summer of 2016.

Werner has been one of the most prolific goalscorers across Europe in recent seasons and has continued to be prolific in front of goal this term too.

This season he has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has notched a very impressive 25 goals. In his time on the field he has also tallied 10 assists.
