Inter don’t believe that there is enough time left in the transfer window to negotiate a sale of Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how reports in Spain yesterday suggested that the two parties have reopened talks regarding the 23-year-old Argentine striker, who has been one of the Blaugrana’s top targets for some time now.

The Nerazzurri believe that there is not enough time left in the window to discuss a deal, the report continues, considering that the Catalan side would still need to sell their unneeded players like Junior Firpo or Rafinha before being able to sign Lautaro.

Inter would also need to find a worthy replacement for the 23-year-old, the report highlights, which may be difficult considering how late it is in the window and the lack of available top forwards.
