Inter Move For Francesco Acerbi To Be Discussed After Lazio-Inter Match In Late August, Italian Media Report | OneFootball

Inter’s possible move for Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi is not going to be discussed with Lazio until after the two teams play against each other later in August, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by the Roman daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the two teams will be playing against each other on August 26 which is a Friday night game at the Stadio Olimpico.

It will not be until after that match that [roper negotiations will take place to see if Francesco Acerbi can move to Inter.

This is because Inter still appear to hold some reservations about whether signing a player who is the same age as the one he is replacing, Andrea Ranocchia, is the best idea.

Manuel Akanji is the more attractive proposition but the issue is that Borussia Dortmund want to receive at least €15 million for his services which is too much for Inter.
