Romelu Lukaku and Nicolo Barella were caught having a heated exchange in Inter's clash with Sampdoria on Monday evening.
The Milanese outfit travelled to 19th placed Sampdoria holding a comfortable second placing in the Serie A table as they fight it out to secure a Champions League berth for the 2023/24 campaign.
But you wouldn't have known that to be the case, based on the actions of influential stars Lukaku and Barella.
The two have been fan favourites at Inter, although the former is still to be forgiven by some Nerazurri for abandoning the club in a big-money switch to Chelsea a couple of seasons ago whilst the latter - Barella - represents one of the finest in the world in his central midfield position and is still adored by much of the club's support.

But despite their fame, both are known to have quite the temper and that was on full show at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium on Monday.
With the score still goalless, a misplaced pass in the midfield was enough to get Barella ranting and raving, throwing his arms up in the air in disbelief.
That's nothing new for the Italian, who has frequently showed displeasure towards his teammates in recent matches. This time, though, it seemed to strike a nerve with Lukaku.
The striker was caught on camera very angrily shouting at Barella and wagging his finger in disapproval.
“Don’t do that, enough with these arms! Do not do that! It’s not good, it’s insulting, now stop!” Lukaku demanded, per FootballItalia.
The much smaller midfield clearly chimed back in response, because Lukaku then continued: “f*** you, son of a bitch!”
The pair then continued to ramble on at each other off camera, however, it is unclear what was said from that point.

Lukaku has so far bagged one goal in the Serie A for Inter this year and to say he's failed to replicate his previous form at the club would be an understatement.
