Inter Milan are already starting to make moves for what will be another demanding summer transfer window. With their recent Serie A success, the Nerazzurri are looking to continue to sharpen their squad without leaving room for complacency. The attacking front has generated doubts, with the veteran nature of some profiles weighing heavily and the possible departure of important names generating uncertainty.

Meanwhile, the situation of several strikers in Premier League clubs is beginning to arouse interest from Italy. The focus is now on a 23-year-old Dutch player who, despite his inconsistency, still has an attractive reputation in Europe.

Inter Milan Want To Sign Joshua Zirkzee For A Loan Deal

According to a report by Corriere dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Joshua Zirkzee, currently a striker at Manchester United, is reportedly on Inter’s radar to strengthen their attack. The Italian side are looking to negotiate a loan deal with an option to buy for around €35 million, which could become an obligation under conditions that have yet to be finalised. The salary would not be an obstacle, as the Milan club would be willing to match what the Dutchman earns in England. With his age, technical qualities and experience in Italian football, Inter believe that Zirkzee can fit into their project immediately without requiring extensive adaptation.

From Manchester United’s perspective, this kind of interest should force them to review their strategy. While Zirkzee has not lived up to expectations following his arrival from Bologna, his youth and market value remain important assets. Selling him on terms that do not fully benefit the club could be a strategic mistake.

What should the Red Devils do?

United should consider whether the problem lies with the player or with the environment that has failed to push him. A change of scheme or loaning him to another club without a mandatory clause could keep open the possibility of redeeming his investment at a later date.

On the other hand, allowing him to leave without clear alternatives would only aggravate an already unstable sporting plan. The view from Milan may be logical, but not everything Inter wants should be easy. Zirkzee could make a comeback in another environment, and if that happens at the San Siro, United would see another talent leave without making a mark. A gamble on his continuity or a permanent transfer with clauses that ensure future income would be reasonable ways forward.
